Electronic Proof of Delivery
Electronic POD offers savings throughout your business. Stationery costs will be reduced, paperwork handling and admin will decrease, data re-keying and error management will be all but eliminated and debtor queries will become fewer and quicker to resolve.
Our electronic proof of delivery solution confirms the correct amount of goods delivered, the address they were delivered to, the time they were delivered and electronically records the signature of the person receiving the goods.
Delivery/Collection instruction
The driver's delivery/collection manifest, stop sequence, delivery instructions and complete load sheet are all stored on the handheld device.
Amend Delivery Items
The driver can amend the delivery details for over/under delivery quantities, enter actual delivered quantities for 'variable' items, enter collection/uplift details - including details of unexpected returns/collections.
Item Tracking
Every delivery and collection confirmed updates the item tracking function on the handheld device maintaining a vehicle item manifest. On completion of the route the system will provide an unload schedule for failed delivery items and returned/collected or uplifted items.
Electronic Signature Capture
Once the delivery details are confirmed the receiver signs for the items on the handheld device and an accurate delivery note, complete with the signatures, is printed at the point of delivery. This information (including signatures) is stored on the handheld and can be passed to the office database instantly via GPRS or on return of the vehicle to base.
Exception Reports
Where an adjustment has been made to a delivery this will be highlighted on exception reports as will other discrepancies such as unload quantities incorrect or failed deliveries, etc.
Instant POD Recall
Once the proof of delivery has been captured on the handheld device and passed to the office system it can instantly be recalled at any time and emailed, faxed or printed and posted to the enquirer, complete with the electronic signatures captured at the point of delivery.
Integration to Back Office Systems
Our proof of delivery solution has been designed to integrate with other applications - allowing your delivery data to pass to our system to generate load schedules, delivery manifests, routes, stop sequence and so on. On delivery confirmation, the delivery data is passed back via our integration module to your ERP or other systems and may be used for delivery confirmation and customer invoicing.
