Vehicle Management
Our comprehensive Vehicle Management system is more than a means of knowing where your vehicles are! It's even more than a means of monitoring vehicle performance. We provide full Vehicle Inspection Management, SatNav and both online and historic tracking. Our geofencing feature will ensure that you will be alerted to any issues likely to arise on the road; such as possible late deliveries. In addition you can automatically inform your customer when his delivery is 'X minutes away' so that he can prepare for the load.
Route planning
Let MVTS plan the best route for your deliveries. If you have delivery windows to meet and other customer restrictions, these can be factored into the planned route.
Vehicle tracking
Locate and pinpoint your vehicles in real time and also see where they have been. Our route planning software provides an ETA for the next delivery and the variance against the planned delivery time. Set alerts and alarms that will advise office and customer service staff when the variance exceeds set tolerances so that you can notify customers in advance of changes to their scheduled delivery time.
Vehicle inspections
Ensure your company and the drivers comply with all legislation by requiring them to complete a vehicle inspection (you can create as many questions as you like) before leaving the depot. If a serious defect is reported the driver is prevented from using the vehicle unless authorised by a supervisor. All inspections require the driver's signature which is captured electronically. The signature and all inspection data is stored in the office database and available for immediate recall and reporting.
Delivery reports
A complete audit for every truck, in real time and historically, of all stops, travelling time and the time spent at each stop.
Unplanned stops
Use the audit report to highlight unauthorised stops and the duration of these stops. Use geo-fencing to alert you in real time if a vehicle enters a restricted area for either the driver, the vehicle, or the product on the vehicle.
Geo-fencing
Create your own exclusion zones using geo-fencing. Restrictions can be based on time of day, driver, vehicle, vehicle type and also the products on the vehicle. The route planning software will route around the exclusion areas and using GPRS for real time data, alerts can be triggered at the office, if the vehicle is within a certain distance of an exclusion zone.
Turn by turn navigation
Use satellite navigation (TomTom and Navman supported) to provide your drivers with turn-by-turn navigation and mapping to the delivery site. If it is a new site you can automatically capture and record the longitude and latitude precisely for future deliveries.
Photographic proof of attendance
At times it is not possible to make a delivery or get a signature. With MVTS you can prove attendance at your customer site as your handheld will automatically record the longitude, latitude and the exact time you were at the location. Using the handheld computer you can even take a time-stamped photograph as additional evidence!
