Mobile Enterprise Systems, leading vendor of mobile data capture systems, moves to new offices to accommodate expansion
Mobile Enterprise Systems Ltd, the fast growing vendor of mobile sales and wholesale delivery systems, has moved to new offices to accommodate business expansion and a growing customer base.
Jack Sane, director, is particularly enthused by the move. ‘Over the past few years we have grown into a position where our systems are used by some of the biggest names in our market in the UK and Ireland. In line with that, our support staffing levels have grown, too, and we have just outgrown our original office space. We are all sad to leave it, as we founded the business there and it served us well. But we are rapidly expanding into some new markets and we need more room to run training courses, exhibitions, etc.’
‘Our core market has always been in van sales and delivered wholesale. This market is currently growing rapidly as the return on investment has now become irresistible due to a combination of decreased technology costs, increased labour costs and increased need for product traceability.’
‘Furthermore, we have recently been experiencing considerable success with our Field Sales System. More and more companies are finding that using paperwork to support field sales teams is just too expensive and error prone. Some have tried to address this issue using laptop programs but found them to be far from ideal as sales tools to use in short, sharp customer meetings. Which is where we come in; with our fast and concise PDA based system we enable reps to promote sales, manage core ranges, capture orders and audit store compliance in the fastest and most accurate manner possible.’
‘All this means that we need more room! Luckily we have managed to acquire some space only a few miles from our old office, thus causing the minimum of disruption in terms of commuting distances, etc. Further factors in our choice of location were the fact that our accommodation is laid out ideally for use by an IT company, and we are still located in the beautiful Mendip countryside!’
