Salesperson
We have a very interesting and varied role for a New Business Salesperson. The role is best suited to an experienced and technically capable person who is skilled in generating and delivering marketing plans and managing sales campaigns though their full life cycle; relating to all staff levels within our target prospects and promoting the benefits of our system to them.
The work will involve:
- Managing all aspects of sales campaigns in conjunction with our marketing team
- Building and managing marketing plans to generate your own pipeline of new prospects
- Nurturing your prospects from first appointment through to full post sales relationship management
- Reporting to the board on all aspects of your sales activities.
Territory is decided on a vertical market rather than geographic basis so some travel within the UK and Ireland is essential to success.
Support Analyst
The role of the Support Analyst is to work alongside the software support team. The job will be varied and include:
- Taking customer support calls and providing first line support
- Software testing of new releases as part of our QC process and also to emulate problems reported by customers
- Updating customers of the progress on their support calls
- Assisting with maintaining the company's internal systems and servers
- Testing new hardware, such as new handheld computer models
- Providing general IT assistance.
Requirements
You must be an enthusiastic and competent IT user, familiar with basic networking systems and office productivity software. You should have a good knowledge of the internet, email, etc.
Profile
You will be keen to work for an information technology company where your existing skill and knowledge will allow you to become a valuable member of the team.
Project Manager
The role of a project manager at Mobile Enterprise Systems is to manage our implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, to budget and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
The project manager will prepare and agree project plans with our customers, identifying key project milestones, critical path, resources required, etc. and ensuring each project meets the required deadlines and is commercially sound.
A project scope and definition document along with responsibility definitions, change control and other project process will also be prepared by the project manager. Through regular meetings the project manager will ensure the project processes are adhered to and the project is properly documented.
A project will usually consist of delivery and commissioning of hardware (servers and handheld devices), installation and testing of communications infrastructure, installation of software and the delivery of any enhancements required to the standard software application. These elements of the project will require the project manager to liaise effectively with and manage third party suppliers for the hardware elements and also the software development team in the case of the application programs.
Requirements
The project manager should have experience of implementing business software solutions, both as a project team member and also as the project leader. Their skills will be broad; covering organisation, documentation, people management and technical skills.

Telemarketing Executive
To help meet our business expansion objectives we have a vacancy for a Telemarketing Executive. Specific product sales training will be provided but the role is best suited to someone with previous IT sales / marketing experience who can relate to all staff levels within our target prospects and promote the benefits of our system to them.
The work will involve:
- Working in close conjunction with our sales team
- Initially carrying out telephone market research using our existing database of target contacts
- Later going on to telephone lead generation and appointment setting
- Eventually going on to more general marketing tasks such as event organisation and management.
Skills Required
A proven track record in a similar role is highly desirable, along with IT solution sales or marketing experience. An understanding of the benefits of mobile computing technology would be extremely beneficial.
Does this fit you?
