Planned Work

The core of our system is a site-specific calendar and profile – allowing you to offer a service schedule tailored uniquely to the needs of each customer site. In turn, this calendar will also ensure that all jobs are automatically dispatched to the correct operative’s handheld computer in a timely manner, accompanied by clear and concise instructions.

Unplanned Work

Jobs which must be carried out at short notice are easy to handle; without the need for wasteful mobile phone calls and reams of paper printouts! Our system will integrate to your Call Management system to capture calls and automatically dispatch them to the territory operative via GPRS. Alternatively you can enter calls directly via our Call Manager module.

In either case, the operative can accept or reject a call using his handheld computer. On accepting a call he can also provide his ETA at the site. Your operative’s response will update your Control Centre screens so that you can keep your customer fully informed of progress and maintain full visibility of your operations.

Proof of Service

Whether your service is provided at attended or unattended sites you can provide auditable proof of service to support invoicing or SLA monitoring. This can be done in a number of ways:

  • Signature capture on the operative’s handheld computer to confirm service to attended sites
  • Photo capture on the handheld computer to confirm service if the site is unattended.
  • Photo capture also proves ‘frustrated service’, for occasions when your operative can’t gain access to site or can’t deliver his service for some other reason
  • Integrated GPS tracking information will prove (and time) the attendance of your operative at site.
Orders for consumables or parts

Make the very best use of your operative’s time at customer site by enabling him to order parts or consumables for the site (or his van) without expensive mobile phone calls and/or paperwork.

Data upload and download

Our Integrator module is designed to allow our system to interface to your Service Management or ERP system to provide a two-way data exchange. We capture call lists from your system and dispatch the jobs to your handhelds via the GPRS network. The progress of each job is updated throughout its life and the completed details are then uploaded to your Service Management or ERP system for invoicing, etc.
