Van Sales Systems

Route information is managed by the administration team in the office including functionality such as route and stop maintenance, stock tracking and warehouse management, vehicle loading, customer files, product maintenance, pricing and EDI.

Administration staff can manage the complete daily cycle from van load and load adjustments through to Day End reconciliations. Functions include sales, returns, pre-orders for execution and pre-orders for future delivery, prices automatically calculated including customer-specific pricing, stock tracking, electronic signature capture, invoice and statement printing.

The telesales module supports outgoing and incoming telesales including calls sequenced by route, driver or date, previous order history, template orders, same day deliveries, earliest possible delivery, rescheduled delivery, stock available to sell and a great deal more.

The promotion feature allows the configuration of special offers that can offer your customers additional savings, promotional items, free items if they purchase a pre-established quantity of qualifying products. Items can be assigned to each promotion created and these promotions can be applied during the item selection, as an alert message at the beginning of the order process or they can be prompted at the end of the order.

New customer promotions can be created applying a specific promotion to a customer’s first order during the order entry process. Promotions can be permanently referenced within the customer’s account.

Vehicle inspection information and details of any vehicle defects are recorded on the handheld computer. This data is sent back to the office system for reporting, including FTA reporting.

Targets can be sent to the handheld computer allowing the sales reps to review their performance against target. Targets can be set as required, for example daily, monthly, quarterly, annual or year-to-date targets.

Operating alongside the van sales process, sales representatives can carry stock in their vehicle and replenish the retailer's consignment stock during each visit. The M-POS system tracks all the stock movements from and to the retailer, as well as the vehicle stocks.

Valuable customer and market information can be recorded on the handheld through user-definable questionnaires. Surveys can be used by all mobile workers including drivers, sales reps and business development managers.

Assets such as trays, baskets, kegs, containers and equipment can be tracked with a rolling inventory of stocks held by customer and deposit payments and repayments can be allocated against assets. In addition to asset tracking, full service records for all assets can be maintained within this module, including last service date, next service date, service type, service cost history and more.
